Privacy Policy

1 Data We Collect
Judah News collects the following to provide a seamless messaging and transaction experience:
- Email address: for account creation, recovery, and essential communications.
- User ID: a unique identifier generated for each account.
- Messages: encrypted chat messages sent between users.
2 How Data Is Used
Your data is processed for the following purposes:
- Authentication: verifying your identity and keeping your account secure.
- Communication: enabling real-time chat between users.
- Transactions: recording your POL token history on the Polygon network.
3 Third-Party Services
To deliver our services, we integrate with:
- Firebase: secure authentication and real-time database.
- Polygon Network: all POL transactions are processed on the decentralized blockchain.
4 Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures:
- Encryption in transit: all traffic is protected with HTTPS.
- Secure storage: sensitive data is stored on Firebase's secure infrastructure.
5 Your Rights
You have full control over your data. At any time you can:
- Access & update: view and modify your information in app settings.
- Delete your account: permanently remove your account and its data from inside the app — see Account Deletion below.
6 Account Deletion
You can delete your account yourself at any time: open Settings & Activity in the app and tap Delete Account. After you confirm, deletion runs immediately — we do not hold your account in a recoverable state. If you cannot access the app, you can instead request deletion from our account deletion page, which is handled within 3–5 business days.
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your profile and login: your account, profile details and profile photo.
- Your content: your posts together with their images, videos, comments and likes.
- Your conversations: your chat threads and any photos, videos or voice notes in them. Because a conversation cannot exist with only one side, these are removed for the other participant as well.
- Your social graph and activity: followers, following, notifications, in-app transaction records and subscription records.
- Your encrypted wallet backup: the backup that lets you restore your Polygon wallet on a new device.
Before you delete, withdraw any POL you still hold. Once your encrypted wallet backup is removed, the wallet can no longer be restored and any remaining balance becomes permanently inaccessible. Deletion is also blocked while you have a cash-out request awaiting payment, so that we can still verify and pay you — please wait until it completes.
Balances and transactions recorded on the Polygon blockchain are public and outside our control; we cannot erase them.
What we keep, and why:
- Payment records: donations and completed cash-outs are retained to meet our accounting, tax and anti-fraud obligations. Your name, email and payout details are stripped from them, so the remaining record cannot be linked back to you.
- Nothing else: no other personal data is retained once deletion completes.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
